Giants Castle is a spectacular part of the Drakensberg and a favorite
Central Drakensberg region. Giants Castle has has less tourism than most
other parts and I have always wondered why as it is about as beautiful as
the Drakensberg comes. Wrlds View hiking trail is just 7km ending
with a spectacular 360° view
at its end.
Have lunch or a well-earned cappuccino and piece of cheesecake at the retuarant
afterwards/ There is a lovely balcony where you can sit and just oak up the
incredible view,
Worlds View Hiking Trail description
Worlds View hiking trail is a moderate 3 hrs hike (14 kms return).
From the picnic area take the concrete path down to and across Bannerman Bridge.
Follow the path to below Sugarloaf Kop and on up to World's View.
